Cyber Security Architect
Position Overview
We are looking for a Cyber Security Architect to join our IT Security Operations Centre. In this role, you will implement security strategies, design and deliver modern technologies, and apply security best practices. You will also ensure the continuous operation of banking services and platforms, whether hosted in data centers or on public clouds.
As a Cyber Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced security technologies. Your tasks will include maintaining the security operations of banking services and leading the implementation of security technologies to enhance security frameworks. You will work with the Group IT Security and Group IT teams to implement new technologies, security policies, and procedures. Additionally, you will conduct detailed threat modeling, risk assessments, and security impact analysis on new projects.

Requirements
More than 5 years of experience in cyber security roles, with at least 3 years as a Security Architect.
Comprehensive knowledge of Cyber Defense and experience in complex IT Security projects.
Familiarity with banking compliance standards like PCI DSS, SWIFT CSP, DORA, and PSD2.
Deep knowledge of secure architecture patterns, network security, and secure SDLC practices.
Hands-on experience with cloud security on AWS, Azure, or GCP and on-premises infrastructure.
Fluent in Greek and English.
Ability to build confidence in team members.
Duties
Design end-to-end security architectures for new systems and applications.
Collaborate with enterprise architects and DevOps teams to integrate secure-by-design principles.
Ensure compliance of infrastructure with security standards and monitor security measures.
Stay current with emerging threats and adapt strategies accordingly.
Evaluate and recommend security technologies like encryption and SIEM.
Support secure cloud adoption and hybrid designs.
Guide security integration for digital platforms and APIs.
Create and maintain architectural documentation and governance materials.
