Description:
We are looking for a Junior Field Systems Engineer to join our technical team and actively support client infrastructures both remotely and on-site. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with basic IT knowledge who wants to develop hands-on experience in firewalls, server management, and Microsoft 365, while working in real business environments. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers and directly assist clients in resolving IT and security issues.
Requirements:
1–2 years of professional IT experience or strong internship/trainee background
Familiarity with basic networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, NAT, routing)
Entry-level experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and firewalls (FortiGate, WatchGuard, pfSense a plus)
Exposure to Microsoft 365 (user management, Teams/Outlook, MFA setup)
Eagerness to learn, troubleshoot, and take ownership of assigned tasks
Good verbal and written communication in Greek, reading ability in English
IT-related diploma, degree or certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft Fundamentals) is a plus
Duties:
Visit client sites to install, configure, or support firewalls, routers, and basic IT equipment
Assist with Microsoft 365 support: mailbox setup, MFA, basic admin portal tasks
Support Windows servers, user computers, and printers during on-site tasks
Handle escalated service requests that require on-site presence or detailed diagnosis
Assist in setting up VPNs, diagnosing connectivity issues, and documenting changes
Conduct basic preventive maintenance visits and assist in client onboarding
Work closely with senior engineers to deliver small projects and learn through practice
Keep documentation up to date and report visits and actions clearly
