Senior Cyber Security Engineer & Incident Responder

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on IT infrastructure experience (System/Network Admin level)

• Minimum 3+ years in a senior cyber security role

• Proven experience in ransomware incident response and log analysis

• Deep familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, and Intune

• Strong experience with firewalls (FortiGate, WatchGuard, pfSense)

• Experience with backup and disaster recovery systems, especially Acronis

• Familiarity with NIS2 directive, ISO 27001, and Cybersecurity Frameworks (NIST, CIS)

• Comfortable in both technical and consultative roles with external clients

• Fluent in English (written and spoken); Greek is a plus

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related field (preferred)

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, Microsoft SC-200, Fortinet NSE) are a strong plus

Duties:

• Respond to ransomware and cyber incidents: isolate systems, collect logs, perform root cause analysis, assist in recovery and decryption

• Design and implement secure infrastructure including firewalls, VPNs, IPSec tunnels, and network segmentation

• Triage and resolve escalated support tickets related to M365, firewall configs, and backup systems

• Lead Microsoft 365 and Entra ID migrations, including device enrollment and Intune policy design

• Conduct vulnerability assessments, security gap analyses, and internal audits

• Lead NIS2 and compliance assessments, write IR/BCP plans, and support TPRM responses

• Assist presales by scoping security solutions for VIP clients (EDR, MDR, Email Security, etc.)

• Evaluate new cyber security solutions and design new MSSP service offerings

• Collaborate with the CISO and internal teams to improve organizational security posture

• Work with Junior or Mid-level engineers to resolve problems and perform training sessions to develop new talents in the organization
